Initiation Process

Initiation is a ritual resulting in Descent of Divine energy into the human system. Different adopts different methods. They may be affected by strong will or a mere and steady gaze with or without involvement of symbols.

Reiki and similar methods of symbology have a system of initiations. There are progressive initiations to raise the spiritual level of the initiate higher and higher.

Western Masters are under the misconception. Reiki initiations do not involve participation of soul so they send healing vibration and to fulfil the desire of the initiates bringing manifestation of desires and to perform healing and effecting transfer of energy.

My views are different. Tantric Budhism adopted Hindu Tantras of the initiatory and power transfer tradition involving methods. The human system is designed to receive the power through Master Disciple succession. The master is a catalyst or one who causes the power transfer without being affected. Such power transfers are always received through the instrumentality of the master. I have observed the tendency of some of my students to pass on initiation without apropriate level of initiation. Such passing on attunements will not be for the benefit of receiver and the giver. Eraising of the karmas will not result but the masters pure intention alone can give attunement not greed for money or fame. There is only one energy. It assumes the different roles after it enters the human system and works according to strong will of the initiate for the purpose intended. The Tantric tradition can be compared to an arch for which the master is the keystone. Therefore love and reverence for the master enables the initiatic to draw the infinite power unceasingly without interruption.

Spirit guide manifestation are inferior to drawing of the power directly by the initiate through the Master and willing the same for appropriate application for those who want help. In Chrisranity as well, the power flows through the instrumentality of the master described a Dove descending on the head of the initiate. The term holy spirit is the link with father and the son and the same holy spirit works in a similar analogy between master and his initiate, the energy is the same. Divine spirit from other plane of existence do often help the initiate but there are different methods.

Initiation involves symbols, writing the same through the pranic flow from the hands of the master on cerebro-spinal system of the initiate. It is offering of Master’s life force into the initiate. The Master reverses the life forces away from his senses upon spinal column through heart directed through the finger tips the energy flows into the initate crowns.

Some masters speak of different elemental energy, in fact there is only one energy, the primordial energy. It assumes different characters, expressed through different centres bringing in certain appropriate qualitative changes in the initiates. A grand master is one who ought to have undergone these qualitative changes and he expresses his life as truth, love harmony and beauty. There are specific deities corresponding to
